Hand Written Passports currently in use must be replaced by Machine Readable Passport (MRP) before 24 November 2015 in accordance to the guidelines of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

The Embassy in this regard informs all the Nepalese Nationals residing in 
Malaysia, to visit the Embassy and apply for passport renewal in order to obtain Machine Readable Passport (MRP) before the ICAO's dateline.
